Narita-san

We went to Narita-san for Hatsumoude on Saturday.
Hatsumoude means New Year's visit to a shrine.
This is the traditional custom of Japan.
We visit Narita-san Shinsyoji every year.
It was very crowded!!

We did Omikuji.
Omikuji means sacred lot.
You can get your fortune of this year.
It has Good Luck, Luck,Small Luck,Not Bad, Not so Bad,
and Bad.

I got 'Not Bad'....
She said it is not good year for me....

And Ena.
She got 'Not so Bad'.....
Oh dear....

If you get bad one, you have to put it on like below picture.
Your bad fortune will be gone.
And if you get good one, you have to hold it in this year.
And next year, you return it to same shrine with your thanks.

We keep our fingers crossed.....

And this is Oinari-san.
'God of harvest'
Everybody pray for their good luck of business.

God of harvest is Fox in Japan.
Fox likes Inari-age like below.
And we dedicate it at here.

We have 3 enjoyment when we come.
One is this.
Potato with butter.
It's simple food, but very delicious!!

Second is Shooting game.

Ena loves this game.
She looks forward to this every year.

She is sniper!

She got many chocos, cookies, and more!!

We found surprized thing.
Gama no abura.
The oil of flog!!!

It's good for burn, cut,prickly heat,athlete's foot,and more.
If you have courage, try it!
And third is Unagi.

Broiled eel with rice!!
Very soft and super ONO!!!

We keep our fingers crossed.
And yours......
